About Us
Where Real SEO Experience Meets Honest Reporting.

Why This Site Exists
There’s no shortage of SEO news online. So why launch another one?
Because after 8 years working in SEO and PPC, across freelance projects, agency desks, and in-house marketing teams. I found that most coverage falls into one of two traps: either it’s too slow (by the time the analysis lands, the news cycle has moved on) or too shallow (it reports what Google said, but stops short of what it means for your actual rankings).
SearchEngineFlow exists to close that gap. Every update covered here comes with a practitioner’s read, not just a summary of what happened, but a clear-eyed analysis of what it means, who it affects, and what to do next. That’s what I always wanted from an SEO publication, so I built it.
“Good SEO coverage shouldn’t just tell you what changed. It should tell you whether you need to care, and if you do, exactly what to do about it.” — Sheharyar, Founder
What You'll Find Here
SearchEngineFlow covers the three areas of search that matter most right now and increasingly, how they interact with each other:
- SEO — Google algorithm updates, core update analysis, technical SEO, E-E-A-T, topical authority, and recovery strategies. Covered from the perspective of someone who has managed SEO across tech products, fashion brands, and service businesses simultaneously.
- PPC — Google Ads, Smart Bidding, Performance Max, audience targeting, and paid search strategy. Not theoretical — campaign-level observations from real account management.
- AI & Search — How large language models are reshaping search visibility, what Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) actually means in practice, how to get cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, and what the AI search landscape means for your organic and paid traffic. This is the fastest-moving area in our industry and the one with the fewest reliable sources
You will not find generic ‘tips and tricks’ content here. Every article is written from a practitioner’s perspective, with the assumption that you know the basics and want to go deeper
Who This Site Is For
SearchEngineFlow is written primarily for:
- SEO professionals and in-house marketers who need reliable, fast analysis of algorithm changes not after a week of think-pieces, but within 24 hours of a confirmed rollout.
- PPC practitioners and digital advertisers managing Google Ads and paid search budgets who want strategy-level insights, not surface-level campaign tutorials.
- Business owners and founders who handle their own SEO and paid search and want to understand changes in plain language without the jargon that makes most SEO writing inaccessible.
- South Asian businesses and marketers particularly those in Pakistan and India operating in English-language search a massive and underserved audience that most Western SEO publications write around rather than for.
If you run a website and care about how it performs in search, organic or paid, this site was built for you
About the Author — Sheharyar
I’m Sheharyar, an SEO and PPC specialist with over 8 years of hands-on experience across three different working contexts: freelance, agency, and in-house.
Across those years I’ve worked across tech products, fashion e-commerce, and services businesses. Three niches with completely different search dynamics, content demands, and competitive environments. That breadth is deliberate. Understanding how algorithm changes affect a technical SaaS product differently from a fashion brand differently from a local services business is what makes the analysis here more useful than a publication that only covers one vertical.
I’ve managed SEO campaigns during multiple Google core updates, on the wrong side of a few of them early in my career, and on the right side more recently. I write about algorithm changes the way someone does who has actually had to explain a 40% traffic drop to a client and then build the recovery plan.
On the PPC side, I’ve managed Google Ads campaigns across multiple industries and budget ranges, from small local campaigns to larger regional spends. I cover paid search not as a separate discipline from SEO but as the other half of the same strategic conversation about search visibility.
I’m based in Pakistan, and part of what makes this publication different is its focus on the South Asian search market, a region with a growing base of sophisticated digital marketers that most industry publications treat as an afterthought.

Editorial Standards
This publication operates under a straightforward set of principles that I hold myself to regardless of traffic, monetisation, or external pressure:
- Real name, real credentials. Every article on this site is written and signed by a named author. There are no anonymous posts, no generic ‘editorial team’ bylines, and no ghostwritten content published under false attribution.
- Accuracy before speed. We cover breaking news quickly but not at the expense of getting it wrong. If the full picture isn’t clear, I say so. I’d rather publish an honest ‘we’re still waiting for more data’ than a confident take built on incomplete information.
- Clear affiliate disclosure. Some articles on this site contain affiliate links to SEO tools. These are always clearly disclosed at the top of the relevant article. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial coverage. I will write honestly about a tool’s weaknesses even if I have an affiliate arrangement with the company.
- No sponsored content without clear labelling. Sponsored posts are clearly marked as such. My editorial opinions are not for sale.
- Corrections policy. When I get something wrong, I correct it promptly and transparently with an update note in the article explaining what changed and why.
The short version: I write what I actually think, based on what I actually know, and I put my name on it.
The South Asia SEO Angle
Most SEO publications are written from a Western market perspective US, UK, Australia. The algorithm changes they cover, the tools they recommend, and the case studies they cite are almost exclusively drawn from those markets.
The reality for SEO practitioners in Pakistan, India, and South Asia more broadly is different. The competitive landscape is different. The budget constraints are different. The search behaviour patterns, the local SERP dynamics, and the most cost-effective tools are all different.
SearchEngineFlow covers South Asia SEO as a first-class topic not as an occasional sidebar, but as a core pillar of the publication. If you’re running SEO for a Pakistani e-commerce brand, a regional services business, or a South Asian startup trying to rank in competitive categories, you’ll find coverage here that was actually written with your context in mind.
